Flatbed Wrecker Trucks: 4 Key Components
KAIRUI IMPORT & EXPORT (SHANDONG) CO., LTD advises users that proper maintenance of these key components is crucial for the wrecker’s lifespan:
1.Power take-off device: Composed of an oil pump, power take-off unit, and flexible shaft cable, it converts vehicle power into hydraulic energy. The pump activates when the power take-off gear engages the transmission via a cab handle—disengage it while driving.
2.Hydraulic transmission mechanism: When the power take-off engages, the pump sends high-pressure oil to a multi-way valve. Operating different handles controls various functions.
3.Traction system: A hydraulic motor drives the winch. For rope release, set the valve to "release"; pull to "retract" for towing. Secure the rope hook to the platform end during travel.
4.Lifting device: Uses tire brackets (front and rear). The front bracket fits over swing arm ends (secured with spring pins); the rear bracket inserts into the front one (pinned). Tires are locked with straps.
